Qur’an Surah 55:


وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ (٧) أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡاْ فِى ٱلۡمِيزَانِ (٨) وَأَقِيمُواْ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُواْ ٱلۡمِيزَانَ (٩)


And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the balance (of Justice), (7) In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance. (8) So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance.


Giving millions when you have billions, is not necessarily charity.

If the apparatus of injustice has upset the balance, then giving in charity may only be servicing this predicament rather than solving it

Actions should be judged on more than just intent alone. Poverty has not always existed as it does today, trace the history of how nations came to take up the begging bowl to realise the systemic nature of their plight

If it moves…Tax It!
